This position requires supervision and clean up after doggy playgroup, lots of on-your-feet exercise - walking pets, throwing balls, and scratching ears.
Candidates must be able to lift 40 lbs.
, be on your feet 4-5 hours at a time, and have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
The ability to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals is a must have.
General kennel experience is preferred.
*Responsibilities:*
* Cleaning and maintenance of pet suites, condos, general boarding areas, and kitchen
* Feeding and watering pet guests
* Monitoring and charting every pet guest
* Monitoring pet belonging
* Monitoring for any abnormalities
* Laundering duties
* Treating guests, co-workers and customers in a professional, courteous manner
* Work in a fast paced environment
* Assisting other associates and performing other duties as needed
*Requirements:*
* Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage time well
* Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
* Must be able to frequently lift 40 pounds
* Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions
* Must have excellent interpersonal skills
* Must have strong communication skills
* Must possess a love of animals and patience when handling pets
* Displays a professional manner at all times
* Must be fully vaccinated against Covid
