We are looking for a reliable cook to join our team! We are a small business, locally owned and operated with a laid back environment.
NO FRYING! You will prepare food for our quick service menu, responsibilities include cooking chicken, steak, fajitas, Queso, beans, etc.
Cook duties will include inventory tracking and teamwork with other employees.
The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and engaging in our creative and exciting cafe.

*Responsibilities*
* Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
* Prepare food for service (e.
g.
staging sandwich station, grill preparation and cleaning, opening and closing food prep area)
* Cook menu items in a fast paced environment
* Answer, report and follow instructions
* Clean up station and take care of leftover food
* Stock inventory appropriately
* Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
* Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
* Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
*Skills*
* Proven cooking experience/fast paced kitchen experience preferred
* Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
* Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
* Familiar with industry’s best practices
