Job Description
This person works within a team to clear and reset tables quickly between seating’s.
Additionally, this position works to ensure this position ensure that orders get to their table as quickly and accurately as possible.
Responsibilities
* Prepares dining room for guests by cleaning and clothing tables, setting decorations, service plates, and utensils.
* Protects the establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
* Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, refilling water glasses, and being attentive to additional needs.
* Supports waitstaff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands and busser stations.
* Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and vacuuming floors, and removing trash from the facility.
* Knowledge of preparation and ingredients in all dishes being prepared.
* Communicate with all staff members regarding what is going on in the restaurant.
* Deliver food to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
* Clear and bus tables.
* Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Qualifications
* Ability to communicate that information upon request.
* Proficient computer skills, ability to use touch-screen based point of sale software
* Passionate about customer service, and consistently delivering a quality guest experience
* Previous customer service experience required, full service restaurant serving experience preferred
* Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
* Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
* Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced work environment
Physical Requirements
* This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 50 pounds.
