IV Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities: - In this position you will coordinate with the assistance of the pharmacist in the preparation of sterile admixtures - Preparation of sterile admixtures, including but not limited to parenteral nutrition, antibiotics, chemotherapy, hydration, and narcotic analgesics while following proper policies and procedures - Calculation of correct dosage by weight or volume - Perform sanitation and maintenance of the cleanroom area and infusion equipment according to 797 UDP Standards - Responsible for cleaning and maintain IV pumps and the IV pump information - Uses good documentation practices Skills: - Prior IV admixture experience required - Proficient in aseptic technique for preparing sterile medications - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and documentation - Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Current pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) is preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.
