POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for maintaining quality throughout Meier's processes.
The quality control technician will work closely with Production staff to ensure that all products meet quality standards as it is crucial for production to run accurately.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspects production lines and obtains production samples for laboratory.
Verifies all specifications are met during production and shipping.
Verifies incoming and outgoing bulk shipments.
Performs laboratory testing throughout all processes.
Performs microbiological testing of samples for any issues.
Tests RO water system.
Maintains samples library.
Works closely with both Production staff and Maintenance.
Strong oral and written communication.
Records all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
Maintains HACCP/Pasteurization data collection.
Performs Quality Audits as needed.
Verifies cleaning and sanitation.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and work well with others.
Qualifications:
2-year science degree preferred.
MUST be the age of 21
Previous experience in wine, beer, and/or spirits industries preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and database systems.
