The Park Pour’s Brand Concept is Upscale Coffee House and Wine Bar - Start with Coffee, End with Wine.
The Park Pour features local Deeper Roots coffee, 150+ wine labels, a Wine Club, on-premise wine lockers, and upscale French Bistro inspired foods.
We host regular wine tastings events with food pairings in a comfortable but not pretentious environment.
Seating areas for beverage and food consumption are both indoors and outdoors, featuring a high-tech 3 to 4 season covered deck space.
During the day we have the local coffee house vibe, served with assorted pastries, quiches, cookies, and breakfast sandwiches.
Light foods, apps, sandwiches will be served all day, specializing in the wine complementing charcuterie boards and desserts.
We pour adult beverages from morning to night.
The bar features local beers, wine pours, flavor-rich liquors for upscale cocktails, and coffees.
Job Functions include but not limited to:
Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
Cooks and prepares food items to specified recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces throughout and at the end of the shift.
Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
Communicates with staff openly and honestly
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
Assist with dishwashing when needed
Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Work Experience/Education Requirements:
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Ability to work a full shift on your feet.
At least 18 years of age.
We are open four evenings a week with bi-weekly tastings.
Physical Setting:
Casual by day, semi-formal at night.
Schedule & Compensation:
5 days & 8 hour shifts.
Weekend & Evening availability.
Hourly pay based on experience, plus tip out.
