Child Care Center Support Professional

Champion Learning Center is a 5-Star Rated, Ohio Licensed Childcare Program.
We are growing and are expanding our reach.
We are seeking a Full-time Center Support Professional.
This is a dynamic role as it supports the classrooms, the food service operation, and the transportation needs of the organization.
During the school year, the Center Support Professional will transport children to and from school from 7am-9:30am and 2:00pm-4pm.
During the summer, The Center Support Professional supports the school age classroom and any field trip transportation needs.
The Center Support Professional may also function as a floater when there are no transportation or kitchen management duties.
While this person is not supporting the classroom or transporting children, he/she will prepare and serve meals in accordance with CACFP guidelines.
Job Responsibilities: * Safely transport children, using the program's 14-passenger bus and/or van, from one destination to another, as directed by the program Director or Manager.
The driver is expected to be on time and accountable for his/her daily pick up and drop off times.
* Have and maintain a safe and violation free driving record.
* Ensure the safety of each child by maintaining ODJFS required trainings, performing emergency evacuation drills, and promptly informing the Administrator of any maintenance needs.
* Assist the Director in planning and updating the bus routes * Monitoring the Bus and/or van for maintenance concerns and make the Director aware of those concerns.
* Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation standard of the program kitchen.
* Assists the Director in maintaining food program sponsor paperwork.
* Monitor and maintain kitchen inventory.
* Adhere to CDC and CACFP kitchen cleaning and sanitation standards.
* Keep up with best practices with regard to CACFP guidelines and ODJFS transportation guidelines.
Job Requirements: * A valid driver's license and a clean driving record * An understanding or willingness to learn current state and local childcare regulations * A High School diploma or equivalent * Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work * 1-5 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility strongly preferred * Must be at least 21 years of age * Servsafe designation preferred * Clean background check Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.
