About the Role:
This position is a night shift 12-hr position working 7pm – 7am.
This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning/sanitation duties and responsibilities in the plant.
Main Responsibilities:
Performs cleaning and sanitation activities as determined by the Master Sanitation Schedule
Responsible to keep accurate written records and complete reports
Works at heights to plant ceiling and exterior silos
Works within enclosed and/or confined spaces, must be able to obtain a Confined Space Authorized Certification
Works in temperature extremes, indoors and outdoors.
Operates several types of powered industrial equipment.
Performs tasks as determined by the rodent and insect control schedules.
Performs sanitation audits or inspections as assigned
Responsible to disassemble and reassemble equipment for required cleanings.
Completes tasks assigned as needed.
Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate for this role will have 3+ years’ experience working in sanitation in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Someone with the ability to accomplish most tasks with minimal supervision, that is self-directed and has proven leadership skills with working with employees and contractors.
A strong attention to detail and a safety mindset is critical in this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years of forklift experience.
Basic knowledge of computers
Experience with SAP
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to obtain forklift certification.
