Non CDL Delivery Driver

Purpose: Delivery of Commercial Tires, Oils, Lubricants, and other products to customers throughout territory.
Essential Duties: Will drive a box truck, with lift gate.
Loading and unloading of product at customer location ? 55 Gallons Drums, 330 Totes, Package Goods, Tires (stacking tires 4-6 high (unmounted Tires ? 8 high)) Pump offs of Oil and Lubricants Some warehousing activities as required at the end of the day when the route is over ? Unloading and loading product (forklift, pallet jacks, loading) Completion of required paperwork including work orders, signatures, and possible COD's Inventory ? once a month Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a box truck Minimum of 1 year of experience in delivery products to customers Knowledge of route sheets and paperwork when delivering products Must have a safe and verifiable driving record.
Must adhere to all safety guidelines including the use of restraining devices or barriers during inflation (tire cages) and the wearing of appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment ? goggles, ear protection, safety vests, etc.
) Must provide own safety footwear, outerwear appropriate for all types of weather.
Must meet federal commercial driving qualifications, including possessing a valid DOT Medical Card and being at least 21 years of age.
Airbrakes and Hazmat endorsement preferred ? will need to get if not currently have.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Requires excessive sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, lifting and carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Work is performed in areas of dirt, dust, fumes, noise, and vibrations.
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors.
Outdoor work will experience seasonal temperature changes (extreme heat and cold), and other unpredictable weather elements.
