Part-Time Welding Instructor

*Description:* We are offering up to 29 hours per week for this position.
We are seeking Welding Instructors to develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans, lead hands-on skills training, and evaluate student performance in lab and/or classroom settings.
As an instructor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality training to our students.
*Qualifications:* To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements: - Possess an associate degree in a relevant discipline OR have at least five (5) years of welding industry experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in SMAW, MIG, TIG, FCAW, OFC, PAC, ASAC, shop safety, and welding theory.
- Hold valid AWS Q5-91 Standard for Certification of Welding Educators Sections 2 and 5 certifications or their equivalent.
- Hold an Ohio Department of Education Adult Education teaching permit or be willing to obtain one.
- Have a student-oriented teaching style, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and administrators as an effective team member.
- Be proficient in email and Microsoft Office programs.
- Display strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Have a solid work record and an acceptable criminal record.
*Start Date:* Based on the class schedule.
*Pay:* We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $32.
00 to $40.
00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
