HVAC-R Instructors deliver top-notch training in the areas of HVAC-R theory and application, schematics reading, electrical theory, wiring and controls, refrigerant handling, systems diagnostics, complete systems repair, troubleshooting, installation, and the HVAC-R regulatory arena.
*Qualifications*:
* 5+ years of HVAC-R industry experience.
* Experience in both residential and commercial/industrial settings preferred.
* Extensive knowledge of schematics reading, electrical theory, wiring and controls, refrigerant handling, systems diagnostics, complete systems repair, troubleshooting, installation in residential and commercial settings, and the HVAC-R regulatory arena.
* Valid EPA 608, R410a, and ICE certifications and knowledgeable about the certification process.
* Valid OSHA General Industry or OSHA Construction certification (preferred).
* Ohio Department of Education Adult Education teaching permit or be willing to obtain one.
* Student-oriented teaching style, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.
* Able to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and administrators as an effective team member.
* Proficient in email and Microsoft Office programs.
* Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
* Solid work record and an acceptable criminal record.
Start Date: Based on the class schedule.
Pay: Competitive hourly wages from $32.
