Teacher's Aide/ Floater

*Teacher aides/assistants will support lead teachers with the following:* *A-*Classroom and group management- Understand and implement safety, discipline and other pertinent policies found in the parent enrollment packet, the employee manual and state licensing.
Teaching children through support and redirection in accordance with Agape’s philosophy and policy.
Value children through the proper use of positive communication.
Use mature and rational judgment in decision-making.
Show respect and fair treatment to all children.
*B-*Classroom Cleanliness- The teacher aide will support the teacher in keeping surfaces clean and disinfected.
*C- *Support the Implementation of Lesson plans- Complete assigned tasks during planning, naptimes or other “free” times, including potty breaks and staff support tasks.
These may be assigned by the teacher you are working with or by a member of administration.
*D- *Comply with CACFP procedures- Portion sizes and meal components served according to CACFP guidelines.
Meal and snack counts properly recorded and turned in.
*E-*Communication- Timely communication of staff requests/concerns as per guidelines listed on the forms used.
Communicate regarding supply needs, supplies missing from storage pantry, or other concerns in a timely way.
*F-*Record keeping- Daily Attendance, Accident/Incident Reports, meal counts, and anecdotal records during your times of caring for each group.
*G- *Personal and Professional Growth- careful maintenance of the individual’s relationship with God and the acquisition of new knowledge and information to increase skills and proficiency in teaching.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $10.
