Job Title: Assistant Basketball Coach Job Summary: Assistant Basketball Coach (part-time, temporary) will be responsible for working alongside the Head Coach in all aspects of the program to facilitate the development, both academically and athletically, of student-athletes.
Additionally, this candidate, along with the Head Coach, will be responsible for attending and providing instruction, coaching, and teaching at all practice sessions, games and/or matches, and strength and conditioning sessions.
The assistant coach will be responsible for working alongside the Head Coach and ensuring team and player compliance with conference and University rules and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and experience coaching at any level.
Desired Qualifications: Consideration may be given to candidates with an associate degree or higher, a general understanding of NCAA rules and policies and a network of contacts in primary recruiting areas.
