We are looking for a team member to provide outstanding leadership and coaching of CrossFit and Personal Training athletes.
*Primary Functions*
* Provide hands on coaching and instruction during CrossFit classes, emphasizing mechanics, consistency and intensity to a diverse set of CrossFit and Personal Training athletes.
* Develop and implement well-rounded and challenging CrossFit workouts that align with the goals and fitness levels of clients.
* Create training programs to ensure progressive and balanced fitness development.
* Motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals through positive reinforcement and effective communication.
*Client Assessment*
* Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' fitness levels, goals, injuries and any specific considerations
* Regularly assess and track clients' progress, adjusting workouts and goals accordingly.
* Driven in the pursuit of excellence in all things related to the role.
*Group Management*
* Effectively manage and lead group CrossFit classes, ensuring a safe and inclusive training environment.
* Provide modifications and scaling options to accommodate varying fitness levels within the group.
*Required Qualifications*
* Passionate about human movement, exercise science, and improving the health, physical, fitness, and quality of life for people of all demographics and ability levels.
* CrossFit Level 1 Trainer or obtain CrossFit Level 1 within 3 months of start.
* Current CPR and AED certifications.
*Preferred Qualifications*
* 3+ years of CrossFit coaching experience with multiple certifications and continuing education history.
* Bachelor’s or higher in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
* Certification as a Personal Trainer or higher from a respected institution (NSCA, NASM, etc).
* Multiple specialized training certifications (mobility, nutrition, weightlifting, gymnastics, etc).
Job Type: Part-time
