A full-time faculty position is available in the Department of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati.
Division of Transplant Surgery is seeking an academic Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery as a multi-organ transplant surgeon for a full-time, non-tenure track position.
This position joins an active faculty group and busy transplant program dedicated to a clinical practice supporting transplant patients, oncology patients, patients needing access for dialysis; resident teaching activities of surgery residents and fellows; and clinical research.
The Department actively supports the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in solid organ abdominal transplantation.
The successful applicant will be provided with a competitive salary and benefits and the final rank/title will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications.
Essential Functions Duties will include responsibilities for the clinical activities in the operating room, ward teaching, and the advising and training of fellows, surgical residents, and medical students.
Minimum Requirements Ohio medical license MD/DO or equivalent degree Completion of 5-year residency in Surgery Specialty training in Transplantation Surgery.
