Job Overview The Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering (ChEE) in the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at the University of Cincinnati (UC) invites you to apply for the position of Term-Adjunct (part-time) faculty positions.
Rank and compensation are based on experience and academic credentials.
ChEE is looking for qualified professionals and educators to be included in the general pool of candidates for Term Adjunct Instructor positions as needed.
Courses are taught at all levels from undergraduate to graduate (master's and doctoral).
The Department of Chemical & Environmental Engineering offers accredited undergraduate and graduate degrees in Chemical and Environmental Engineering, as well as graduate degrees in Environmental Sciences.
The department has state of the art research centers and laboratories.
The student enrollment is approximately 920 undergraduate and 150 graduate students.
Essential Functions Teach or co-teach courses, assigned on a semester-by-semester basis.
Coordinate with other Chemical & Environmental Engineering faculty members for alignment of coursework with the overall curriculum.
Meet with students as needed, through office hours or other specified availability.
Submit grades for all students enrolled in courses.
Minimum Requirements Candidates must meet one of the three following requirements: A Master's Degree in Engineering or a closely related STEM field is required for undergraduate class instruction.
Graduate instruction requires a degree in Engineering or a closely related STEM field one level advanced beyond the level of the course.
