Job Overview As one of the oldest medical schools in the country, the UC College of Medicine has a reputation for training best-in-class health care professionals and developing cutting-edge procedures and research that improves the health and clinical care of patients.
The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine seeks applications for a faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level, specializing in pulmonary critical care or critical care medicine for our growing critical care programs at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and/or West Chester Hospital.
We are seeking candidates with commitment to outstanding patient care delivery and additional complimentary career interests that further support and develop our program including: quality improvement, health outcomes, research (clinical or basic) and/or education.
Rank is commensurate with experience.
Essential Functions Clinical duties will include a minimum number of service (weeks, weekends and nights) in our Medical ICU and Medical Step Down services at University of Cincinnati Medical Center and/or West Chester Hospital.
Depending on candidate’s other interests and total clinical commitment, additional clinical time may include outpatient and/or other critical care services across the UC Health Network.
Opportunities to receive additional training in clinical research may be available as part of the agreement.
This individual will also participate in the teaching of UC medical students, and UC Medical Center residents and fellows.
Minimum Requirements Applicants for this faculty position must have all of the following prior to effective date of appointment: Medical Degree or foreign equivalent; Ohio Medical License.
Completion of a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine or Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine with BC/BE in Critical Care Medicine.
