ROLE SUMMARY:
Financial System Designer
The Cincinnati Public Schools invite applications for Financial System Designer.
This position is a key member of the Financial Technology team, with a primary focus on designing, building and maintaining dashboards for the Treasurer’s Office with secondary focus on application security.
This position provides thoughtful analysis to support critical areas of our financial systems.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate shall have the training, skills and ability necessary to:
Design, Create and Maintain dashboards for the Treasurer’s Office
Provide end user support for visualization comprehension
Create and maintain security structures and roles for all financial systems
Provide assistance with workflow configuration
Backup Support for Financial Systems Software Engineer
Provide software and process training when necessary
Create and maintain documentation
Enter and update support tracking tickets for the Treasurer’s Office departments
Analyze ticketing systems for common themes and recommend courses of action
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Training:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in technology, business, finance, organizational development, accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of Associates Degree in one of the above mentioned related fields.
A combination of relevant college course work and professional accounting or technology experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of providing functional support to an accounting, Enterprise Resource Planning, or other complex computer system.
Highly Desirable Systems Experience and Education (not required):
PowerSchool Business PLUS
Cognos Reporting and/or Dashboarding
MS SQL Server
VB.
net / VBscript
Advanced MS Excel functions and programming
CONTRACT PROVISIONS
TYPE OF CONTRACT: 260 - day limited
SALARY RANGE: Associate I – Per CAAS Agreement
