Description: The Division of General and Community Pediatrics, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC), is seeking a mid-career to senior pediatric researcher to join a diverse, talented, multidisciplinary team of individuals.
We share a passion and commitment to transform care delivery and foster the innovation needed to improve population health.
We aim to accomplish this through exceptional clinical programs, high-impact clinical, translational, and educational research, innovative educational programs, and effective academic and community partnerships.
The Division is recruiting a mid- to senior-level researcher focused on population health and health equity, health services delivery, and/or digital health interventions for children with medical and/or social complexity to join the exceptional research team and infrastructure already in place at CCHMC.
Opportunities abound to conduct research in pursuit of the goal of making Cincinnati’s kids the healthiest in the nation by leveraging our regional population health initiative.
This initiative already includes a range of diverse partnerships and deep community involvement where research is being executed alongside education, advocacy, and clinical care delivery.

The Division of General and Community Pediatrics is clinically productive with six primary care sites and four additional clinical service lines including: Complex Care Center (a clinic that cares exclusively for children with medical complexity), CHECK (Comprehensive Health Evaluations for Cincinnati’s Kids) Foster Care Center, Environmental Health and Lead Clinic, and Breastfeeding Medicine Clinic.
Our Complex Care Center has a thirty-onemember team, including 7 physicians, that provide outpatient care and support for 642 children and families with chronic complex medical conditions at two locations.
All of our clinical operations have team members with expertise in quality improvement and system redesign, with rigorous measurement of outcomes.

Qualifications: The ideal candidates would hold an MD, DO, PhD, ScD, or DrPH degree.
If an MD or DO, candidates should be Board Certified in General Pediatrics.
Faculty must qualify for a position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
The faculty member would be expected to pursue scholarly work and attain R level funding within the first 3 years of appointment if not already externally funded.
The faculty member would also be expected to mentor trainees and junior faculty.
