Kumon Assistant

Early Learner/Grading Assistant Kumon Math and Reading Center of Wayne - We are searching for reliable teaching assistant to help Math and Reading of our preschooler and Kindergarten-aged students.
We are looking for candidates interested in working in education - those who enjoy helping children achieve Academic success.
*Qualifications* •Must be punctual, responsible, and have a positive respectful attitude toward students, parents and other staff •Ability to multitask and follow directions •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with adults and children •Prompt and reliable participation in training sessions •Commitment to make a difference in the community and belief that all children have the potential to achieve academic excellence *Responsibilities* •Enjoy working with kids and comfortable working with students * Needs to grade their assignment * Job duties would include but are not limited to: Helping guide children through the classroom routine and daily assignments * Grading Math and Reading assignments * Assisting Early Learners with and guiding them through their assignments * Assisting Lead Instructor with classroom management * Checking students into and out of the cente Job Type: Part-time Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week Benefits: * Flexible schedule * Health insurance Grade school specialties: * Math * Reading Schedule: * After school Work Location: In person
