We specialize in 24-hour private non-custodial group home and independent living programs that fosters and empowers living and learning for youth aged 9 to 21 years old.

In our endeavor to achieve this objective, the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer and staff will: Policy: Foster a safe environment for clients, families, staff administered with shared vision, goals and decision making.
Maintain public trust through honest, truthful, ethical transactions and partnerships promoting a culture of recovery.
Maintain support of enhanced organizational culture of growth, stability, emotional intelligence and open communication.

Education Coordinator Position Defined: The Education Liaison is integral to the success of KYS Education by monitoring student performance and excellence.
The Education Liaison acts as the program manager, tracks student progress, conducts conferences, and upholds high quality customer service while representing KYS and its students.
The Education Liaison is the "Face of KYS Education" and is a brand ambassador.
The Education Liaison must uphold the highest standards of excellence as a liaison and support of KYS programs and services.
Responsibilities: Conduct student conferences with Facility Manager and student education contacts to review KYS's programs and services and enroll students Conduct conferences with enrolled school, student’s case management team and student to review progress, adjust academic plans, and renew enrollments Recruit, manage and provide ongoing feedback and support to education staff (mentors, tutor’s, etc.
) Coordinates individual education plans with the student’s case management team.
Assures that the student’s educational potential and limitations, in relation to his or her academic ability, are effectively communicated to enrolled school and case management team Consults with case management team concerning the educational needs of students and develops relationships that are caring, trusting, reliable and beneficial.
Maintains appropriate records and statistics.
Orders and maintains materials for service and program needs.
Oversee student testing and monitoring of all students' academic progress Manages regular study sessions with all KYS school age students Tracks student progress weekly using applicable school district learning portal reporting to the case management team on a regular basis Participate in the intake process and ensure residents are enrolled into an academic and/or work training program Advise and support residents as they complete their academic and/or work training program(s) Supervise the development of workshops, events and trips that will support, inspire, and inform youth about the skills needed to pursue higher education and other opportunities (trips, panels, and college tours/fairs) Provides leadership for the case management team in the delivery of education services.
