As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students.
You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth - Assess student progress through various methods, such as tests, projects, and observations - Provide individualized instruction and support to students based on their unique needs and abilities - Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment - Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and other professionals to support student development - Stay up-to-date on current educational practices and trends in order to continuously improve teaching methods - Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills Skills: - Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices - Proficiency in math concepts and the ability to effectively teach math skills - Experience in behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom environment - Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations for students with diverse learning needs - Previous experience working with students in an educational setting - Knowledge of early intervention strategies for identifying and addressing learning challenges - Ability to provide literacy education and promote reading skills development - Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred but not required - Understanding of child welfare principles and the ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment - Strong tutoring skills to provide additional support to struggling students If you are passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of students, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
