Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and educational activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Ensure the daycare facility is clean, organized, and meets all health and safety regulations
- Supervise children during outdoor playtime, meals, and naptime
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting
- Strong classroom management skills to effectively engage and guide children's behavior
- Knowledge of special education principles and techniques for supporting children with special needs
- First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children
