Bethany School seeks Substitute Teachers for on-call work.
Successful candidates are culturally competent, responsible, caring, and enthusiastic people who possess sharp teaching skills and positive experience working with students in grades K-8.
Each Bethany School faculty member is expected to:

Set reasonable expectations for the development of the mind, body, and spirit
Exhibit a solid working knowledge of best teaching practices
Identify and support students' social, emotional, and academic needs
Provide timely feedback to students and families via online portals, email, and phone calls
Design and facilitate productive dialogue among students and teachers
Communicate effectively and professionally with students/families about classwork, learning goals, and student progress
Demonstrate content knowledge and expertise and scaffold curriculum to ensure progress toward mastery of skills and concepts
Collaborate and plan actively for learning
Qualified candidates will possess or demonstrate the following:
Bachelor's Degree required
A commitment to justice equity, diversity, and inclusion

Collaborative skills and the ability to work well in team settings
Prioritization of student safety and security
Dependability and professionalism; be punctual, complete work in a timely manner, maintain calm under pressure and exercise sound judgment
