The ideal candidates shoud be conversant with Child guidance principles and practices related to children with special needs including
visual impairments.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Ohio certification for teachers of students with visual impairments
Minimum 1 year experience working in a school setting
Responsibilities:
Providing direct and indirect (consult) visual impairment support to students
Providing visual impairment evaluation and re-evaluation support as needed for students in the region
Providing instructional support for students in academic subject
Providing instruction in expanded core curriculum such as daily living skills and community-based instruction
Developing, facilitating, and/or participating in Individual Education Program (IEP) team meetings for students with visual impairment
Other duties as assigned by administration
