The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Digestive Diseases is seeking a BC/BE gastroenterologist to join the suburban arm of the university-based GI program.
This will be a teaching position and have the opportunity for research based on interest and credentials.
It is supported by dedicated advanced practice providers and administrative staff.
There is a beautiful and spacious office built new in 2013 connected to the hospital.
Compensation is highly competitive with the opportunity for incentives based on clinical and/or academic productivity.
The individual will be assigned a pro rata amount of weekend/holiday/night call in accordance with division policies.
Essential Functions
Patient care responsibilities including, but not limited to, Outpatient Clinic, Inpatient hospital service and consults, and endoscopy laboratory procedures.
Contributing to the clinical/patient care, research and teaching missions of the division.
Clinical duties including responsibilities for treating patients while accompanied by learners such as our students, residents and fellows.
Encompassing an active role in departmental fellowship programs resident teaching (e.
g.
evaluating curriculum and instruction to residents, and completing required evaluations), and presentations at the local, regional and national levels.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
MD, Gastroenterologist, Ohio medical license.
Completion of 36 months internal medicine residency.
Completion of 36 months gastroenterology fellowship.
12 months advanced endoscopy fellowship.
