The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine is offering a Clinical Faculty position in the Department of Dermatology, at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor.
Rank is commensurate with experience.
Essential Functions
Patient care responsibilities including, but not limited to, Outpatient Clinic, Inpatient hospital service and consults, and in-office procedures.
Contributing to the clinical/patient care, research and teaching missions of the Department and College by supporting the University’s mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.
Clinical duties including responsibilities for treating patients while accompanied by learners such as our students, residents and fellows.
Encompassing an active role in departmental fellowship programs resident teaching (e.
g.
evaluating curriculum and instruction to residents, and completing required evaluations), and presentations at the local, regional and national levels.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD), D.
O.
or an equivalent degree, resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Dermatology Residency and be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Dermatology.
Candidates must have the ability to obtain an unrestricted Ohio State Medical License.
An ideal candidate will have a past track record of academic excellence and relevant clinical experience in Dermatology.
