*ASSESSMENT CENTER COORDINATOR* ASSESSMENT CENTER COORDINATOR Clermont County Juvenile Court Application Due By: March 10, 2024 Status: Full-Time, Unclassified (employee serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority) 40 hours/week Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (hours may vary) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime) Pay: Negotiable depending on qualifications/experience JOB OVERVIEW: The Clermont County Juvenile Court is seeking a Coordinator for their newly funded Assessment Center.
The Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and performing assessments and screenings and refer youth and/or families to services and programming within the community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Review referrals and schedule youth and their families * Conduct assessments and screenings to determine risk/needs and refer to services and/or programming within the community * Evaluate for crisis intervention * Communicate with Diversion, Truancy and Probation departments as needed * Follow-up with service providers regarding progress of youth and their families * Create reports to summarize progress * Help create policies and procedures for new assessment center * Maintain case files, develop goals and objectives * Act as a liaison to the public to promote, educate and maintain efforts to raise awareness about the center’s activities * Conduct, track and analyze program data * Assist with program monitoring by the Ohio Department of Youth Services to include site reviews and annual audits * Perform other duties as assigned WHAT WE OFFER: * Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance\* (single to family plan options, begins after 30 days of employment) * Generous paid time off including vacation (after six months of employment), personal days, sick leave, and 12 paid holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of… * Office practice and procedures, public contact and general clerical support Ability to… * Establish and maintain effective working relationship with other employees, collaborative partner agencies and the general public courteously and tactfully * Operate various office equipment, including but not limited to, computer, copier, calculators and typewriters * Enter data into a computer with accuracy * Calculate decimals, fractions and percentages and make change in US currency * Read and write common vocabulary Minimum Requirements… * Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Sociology, Childhood Development or related field or any combination of education and professional experience commensurate with a degree * Valid driver’s license (or the ability to obtain one prior to employment date) Preferred Requirements… * Master’s Degree * 2 years of experience in a juvenile court or related field working with children and their families in an organized setting * Experience should include assessment and case management Pre-Employment Screening may include but is not limited to a criminal background check, psychological evaluation, drug screen, verification of academic credentials, licenses, certification, and or verification of work history.
Dress Code: All employees are expected to dress in an acceptable, professional manner, any employee who has a tattoo must make sure that the tattoo(s) is/are covered up and not visible at all times during work hours.
Any visible body piercings, with the exception of professional appearing ear piercing, shall not be filled with adornments during paid work hours in accordance with Clermont County Juvenile Court Personnel Policy and Procedures.
