In this role, you'll work closely with students to identify and develop a financial plan that'll support them along their educational journey.
What You’ll Do
Determine student's Financial Aid eligibility for Title IV Financial Aid- including grants and loans
Advise and support the students on Financial Aid application procedures, costs, indebtedness, money management, and financial budgeting
Obtain relevant information from prospective students to help identify and create an individualized financial plan
Answer questions from students, parents, or guardians pertaining to the Financial Aid process and student eligibility
Maintain positive communication with the Financial Aid Team, Admissions Team, and Student Accounts Team
Maintain and follow compliance of all Federal, State, and Institutional Financial Aid programs, including Federal Pell Grants and state grant programs
Conduct regular reviews of student files to ensure documentation is accurate and in compliance
Evaluate information provided by the student and make revisions to needs or dependency status
Who You Are:

Ability to simplify financial discussions to help students feel confident
Operates with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy
Ability to drive business with an analytical and proactive mindset
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or a minimum 3 years of related work experience
General working knowledge of financial practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office
