Hello! I'm looking to hook up with like-minded musicians, who get along well and are serious players/singers, take pride in their shows/gigs and want to make decent money.
Preferably a committed group already gigging.
Jamming is fun and all and I know there will be an introductory chemistry/ability session but after that I want to play out and earn money.
Music is my career and I've been playing professionally and teaching it for over 40 years.
I enjoy playing good pop/classic rock/couthern rock/funk/r&b/blues/jazz especially from influences such as Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Genesis, EWF, Kool & Gang, Police, Journey, etc.
I'm not in to metal, rap, punk or anything too harsh or screamin loud but could enjoy some Styx, Cars, Foreigner, Boston, etc.
I have done country gigs as well and could enjoy that in the right situation.
I would even be interested in a Jimmy Buffet tribute show! Tribute acts seem to be getting the best work!
I cover most sounds including B3, Rhodes, Wurly, Strings, Acoustic piano and more.
I am comfortable improvising.
I have all pro gear and in-ear monitors, running two boards into a keyboard mixer for a stereo out signal.
I am currently working with a 4-piece band that will likely play 1-2 times a month.
I'd like to play more so working with players who are with other bands is fine for me as I'm not hung up on exclusivity.
If you are interested in discussing possibilities please send me your email with a little about you and your group w/song list.
I will respond likewise.
I have video links of my playing and (ahem singing a little) from a few different groups I've worked with.
I also have song lists of things I can (ahem) sing.
A couple of video samples.
